La Mirada, CA (November 5, 2025) - LA Force 2 forward George Almeida has been selected NISA Nation Player of the Week for Oct. 27-Nov. 2. 

Almeida scored a brace and assisted once for LA Force 2 as they defeated Temecula FC 3-0 in a match at St. Anthony High School Stadium in Long Beach, CA, on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Almeida is originally from Salvador, Brazil, and he is a high school graduate of Colégio Módulo in Salvador, Brazil. Almeida has a bachelor's degree from the University of Providence in Great Falls, MT, and holds a master's degree from Rochester University in Irvine, CA. Almeida previously played collegiate soccer for the University of Providence Argos in the NAIA and professional soccer for Irvine Zeta FC in NISA, as well as for Arkansas Wolves FC in the recent 2025 NISA Pro Cup.
