REDWOOD CITY, CA (April 1, 2024) - A pair of early goals were just enough.

David Woodruff and Steven Orozco both scored in the first half, and ASC Silicon Valley held on for a 2-1 victory over Silicon Valley Galaxy in a NISA Nation Pacific Region West Division showdown at Sequoia High School's Terremere Field on Saturday, March 30.

Woodruff got on the scoreboard in the 17th minute, and Orozco added another in the 33rd as ASC Silicon Valley (2-0-1 overall) bounced back from its loss to Bay Area United FC last week.

Anatoly Corp scored in the 64th minute for Silicon Valley Galaxy (0-2-1), which remains without a win in NISA Nation.

Also on Saturday, David Villanueva scored his third goal in three matches as Las Vegas Legends FC scored a 4-0 victory over Olympiacos CA at Cristo Rey St. Viator High School in Las Vegas.

On Sunday, Safiullah Azizi scored three times as Afghan Premier FC earned a 7-1 victory over Modesto City FC at Central Catholic High School in Modesto.

The match between Bay Area United FC and Battlebord FC, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 30, at Estuary Park in Alameda, CA, was postponed.
